4th-6th Grade Book Club (June-Sign of the Beaver)
Delving into new literary worlds, students will explore story elements such as character, setting, and plot. They will also be challenged to ponder deep themes and develop critical thinking skills. Class sessions will be held Tuesdays in June at 1pm. Each class session will last for 50 minutes and will be an interactive lesson via zoom for your convenience. While there will be short writing assignments throughout the month, our primary focus will be building a deeper appreciation and understanding of the books we read. This month we will be reading Elizabeth George Speare’s award-winning book: The Sign of the Beaver.
