7th-12 Grade Book Clubs (July--Moccasin Trail)
Delving into new literary worlds, students will explore story elements such as character, setting, and plot. They will also be challenged to ponder deep themes and develop critical thinking skills. While there will be short writing assignments throughout the month, our primary focus will be building a deeper appreciation and understanding of the book we read. This month we will read Eloise Jarvis McGraw’s Moccasin Trail. I’m looking forward to discussing character development, culture, and family. Class sessions will be held Wednesdays in July at 1pm (4 weeks). Each class session will last 50 minutes and will be an interactive lesson via zoom for your convenience.
